Schulungsbeschreibung Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central – VS Code AL Reporting (Part 2: Advanced) Course Language English Course Objective and Content This workshop provides Dynamics 365 Business Central programmers with practical procedures and strategies to solve demanding tasks more productively with a deeper understanding. Data reduction techniques When working on a project, you are often faced with the task of processing very large amounts of data and summarising it for reporting purposes. In this workshop, you will learn all the techniques to solve this requirement efficiently. Document design Special emphasis is placed on the techniques used in document design. These are developed and practised step by step in various examples. The document structure is then analysed and explained in detail. Generally applicable document requirements are then derived from this. The participants will then create a document themselves using the analysed techniques for these general requirements. Carryovers and subtotals In RDLC reporting, the correct realisation of carryovers and subtotals is a challenge. It is particularly important for correct implementation to use the appropriate technique for different types of reports. In this workshop, participants will learn the appropriate techniques for simple lists, grouped reports and documents. The participants can then apply these techniques themselves in practical examples and exercises. Templates and tools In all areas of Dynamics 365 Business Central development, the question arises as to how work can be made more efficient and how standard-compliant implementations can be realised more quickly. In this workshop, we will familiarise participants with the use of templates and tools that can help them achieve this goal in RDLC reporting. For the critical topics of document design, carryovers and subtotals as well as templates and tools, we have compiled months of experience from various projects and expertise from the Business Central community and put together the best for you. The workshop actively involves all participants by means of many practical examples and exercises.
